This is a 100% remote location, but we ask that you be based in the Midwest.
As a Senior Software Engineer, your primary role will be to design, engineer, deploy and test real-time software that controls the functionality of both large and small off-road vehicles. Your demonstrated knowledge and experience in systems and software development, including C and C, will be essential to your success. MBSD using MATLAB and Simulink is also important. If you have specific experience in developing automated control applications, you will feel right at home. A quick learner with the ability to work independently (as well as part of a small team of software, electrical and systems engineers), you will be comfortable in a role where you will be expected to think straight and develop innovative solutions to complex management problems. . .
Our successful engineers typically have advanced degrees in electrical, computer or software engineering, or computer science and physics. They also want to be a key factor in a successful product launch where their software enables the user of these machines to work in a more productive and secure environment. With practice and hard work, you will become proficient in C programming and have knowledge of real-time operating systems, interrupts, and test-driven development.
