your duty
- As a Senior Forecast Analyst at John Deere Olathe in Moline, IL, you will…
- Develop data-driven sales forecasts for sales and operations planning and drive improvements by incorporating data analytics into the fulfillment process.
- Analyze historical and seasonal patterns along with current competitive/market data to ensure forecast fits with overall current business environment.
- Understands and examines current sources of market data to ensure that variables such as competitive position, government actions, commodity prices, weather, etc. are properly reflected in the forecast.
- Facilitates cooperation between plant, departmental marketing management and production system, leading to control of forecasted output and new input of near-term management actions that may affect the forecast.

What skills do you need?
At least 5 years of experience in data analysis, economics and trend forecasting. 5 or more years of experience in the sales and operations planning process, statistical forecasting of demand and combining experience with demand plans and related supply plans. 5 years or more experience in order fulfillment. At least 5 years of process management experience with attention to detail. At least 5 years of experience with proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills
