Join us! The Regional Account Director is responsible for selling EKC's product and service offering to all accounts in their assigned territories. This position requires knowledge of educational technology and the products we offer. Representatives are expected to consistently project a positive and professional image of the company. Ethics and culture are an important part of our business model and professionalism is key.
Obligations:
- Meet or exceed all individual sales goals and team quotas.
- Manage and grow assigned territory to achieve revenue, market share, business and new account goals.
- Support and assist the outside sales team with the entire sales cycle including quotes, orders, return authorizations and occasional conference attendance.
- Manage and maintain accurate information in the company's CRM.
- Occasional travel throughout the region is required to develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, prospecting, product demonstrations with vendors, and other sales activities that require travel.
- Conduct sales and product demonstrations in person and via Zoom to showcase EKC's portfolio of products and services.
- Manage customer experience and expectations throughout the sales cycle. Develop relationships with partner companies and learn about their products as needed
- Provide the highest level of customer service and follow up to ensure a positive experience for all customers to ensure repeat business for EKC and representative supplier partners.
- Continued focus on developing new clients and maintaining existing clients. Attend regional and national trade shows as needed. Overnight travel as needed.
Qualifications
- A university degree is an advantage but not required. Business or technology related fields preferred. (Successfully completed university courses or technical specialist courses will be useful for the role)
- Interest and desire to study audiovisual field and technology is highly encouraged.
- 3-years of sales experience is beneficial. Previous experience in education sales or technology is a plus. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. The mindset of a hunter. Passionate about sales and technology. Excellent communication, presentation and communication skills. Energy, enthusiasm, determination and the ability to manage activities. Goal-oriented, competitive, ambitious and persuasive. Ability to travel as needed and valid driver's license. Excellent organizational and follow-up skills. Computer skills including CRM experience (Salesforce a plus) and MS Office Suite.
