This position can be hybrid or completely remote at the discretion of your manager. If you plan as a hybrid, you will split your time between telecommuting from home and the office, so you will have to live within commuting distance. If you are set up to work remotely, you will work remotely from home and may visit the GoDaddy office to meet with your team at events or overseas. Compensation
As with many sales positions, our compensation includes both an hourly wage ($15/hour) and a variable compensation plan (no cap). Full-time workers would start at $31,200 a year, and those who hit 100% of their variable goal would start at an average of $58,000. The great news is that in 2022, many guides consistently exceeded their sales goals and reached the $75,000 mark, and some were even higher because the variable has no limit.

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for delivering on our customer experience promise. You will join a team of 10-15 guides who interact with existing and potential GoDaddy customers. In this role, you will deliver an exceptional GoDaddy Customer Experience (WOW Experience) to every customer by providing our customers with the tools and knowledge to help turn their ideas into successful online businesses! This is done through customer account analysis and consultative discussions leading to product/service recommendations.
What can you do…
- Make incoming calls and show WOW behavior during the interaction. Advise clients on new products and services to help their business succeed.
- Provide a solution to our Support Area (SOS) and try guidance for a third-party solution or consultation for a paid solution if needed.
- Troubleshoot GoDaddy products as needed to provide excellent customer service.
- Take full responsibility and provide customers with a comprehensive solution.
- View metrics that may include customer availability, net ad score, and new sales per day. Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and the ability to thrive, multitask and prioritize high volumes in a dynamic environment.
Your experience should include…
- College degree, GED or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years of sales experience and proven understanding of customer needs.
- 3 years of experience in a compensation, bonus and/or metrics environment.
- Ability to meet sales quotas while providing an excellent customer experience.
- Experience using CRM or other customer management software. Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, multitask and prioritize high volumes.
- Proven ability to foster and build exceptional client relationships.
- The ability to take full responsibility for a client's affairs and deliver a truly exceptional customer experience one client at a time. In-depth knowledge of Internet technology.
- The ability to connect directly to the modem via Ethernet and a stable Internet connection with a speed sufficient to support voice calls.
- Guides who do not have a stable connection and/or sufficient internet speed may be required by applicable law to update their services at their own expense.
- This drive requires a smartphone or other smart device that can (1) access Google Play or the Apple Store and install apps, and (2) receive text messages (text) to remotely access GoDaddy online resources.
