This position will participate in all aspects of the data management lifecycle, which includes sourcing, cleansing, generation, and data visualization. Key responsibilities include data gathering and auditing, process monitoring and testing. The HR Data Specialist partners with members of corporate HR, corporate IT, and operating unit representatives to ensure adherence to data management requirements and project timelines. Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS/DUTIES:
- Support data gathering, cleansing and analysis for various reporting processes, including but not limited to, turnover reporting and required annual reporting (EEO-1, ACA, state Pay and Hours, etc.)
- Perform regular data audits, monitor data interface processes, and resolve identified issues to maintain data integrity
- Use knowledge of HR data practices to participate in testing of new processes and solution implementations
- Create and maintain process documentation
- Serve as backup for processing of new hires, rehires, terminations and other employee system changes into HR system
- Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
- Assists with special projects and performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business from accredited school and 3+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex spreadsheets
- Well-developed collaboration and interpersonal skill to interact with employees at all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, large amounts of data, produce excellent work results and follow through on commitments
- Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office programs such as: Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, (etc.)
- Results oriented with the ability to organize, prioritize, and implement multiple projects.
- Work effectively and independently in a fast-paced team environment where priorities can rapidly change
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Ability to multi-task effectively while maintaining focus on deadlines.
