LaserAway is seeking a Level 2 Help Desk Support Technician with installation, configuration and troubleshooting experience; Google Workspace, SonicWall firewalls, switches, access points, PCs, Macs, Chromebooks, phones and printers to manage remote support for a growing IT department. The ideal candidate will support staff via phone, email or chat. Candidate must be able to diagnose and resolve IT support issues. The help desk manager is responsible for managing support tickets and support calls. The Help Desk Manager will attempt to resolve all tickets escalated from Level 1. The System Administrator may escalate any issues to Level 3 and/or external vendors. Tier 2 can share the workload with Tier 1 and Tier 3. Additional fees include documentation, backup, virus removal and imaging computers.

Tasks:
- Provide quick and timely response to tickets to resolve tickets as per SLA.
- Resolve help desk tickets and support end users for various technical issues
- Resolve or escalate tickets in a timely manner
- Prioritize tickets and projects
- Configuring and troubleshooting network devices. Network troubleshooting; DNS, DHCP, VLAN and TCP/IP
- Troubleshoot third-party websites and applications; Google CCAI, Google Workspace, GCPW, Zendesk, Jira SM, Zoom, Square, Rockbot, EDR tools, RMM tools and more
- IT works closely with other departments as part of collaborative projects.
- Install and configure computer programs and installation systems and user accounts
- Adding and removing users from different systems
- Providing desktop, laptop, iPhone, iPad, Android devices, printers and Wi-Fi support
- Bug fixes, virus removal and desktop imaging.
- Train other staff on technical matters as needed
- Documentation procedures
- Adding and updating KB articles
- Special project to order
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Experience managing Google Workspace
- Experience supporting and configuring SonicWall firewalls, switches and access points
- RMM, MDM, EDR experience
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- Ability to multitask and resolve issues quickly in a legacy environment
- UCaaS and CCaaS experience is a plus
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years experience in IT field
- You must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment, share information and creative solutions
