A fraud analyst uses multiple data sources to organize, interpret, and process data when reviewing transactions. They will determine in time whether transactions are fraudulent or legitimate. The analyst also maximizes verified and processed orders while minimizing trading errors and fraud losses.
SHIFT: Tuesday through Friday (9:30am - 6:00pm PST) and Saturdays (7:00am - 3:30pm PST)
WHAT IT DOES:
- Monitor customer transactions and detect fraud in a timely manner
- Detect and cancel fraudulent transactions and prevent future transactions in the system
- Identify and report fraud trends to ensure up-to-date operational parameters
- Recommend anti-fraud processes to change transaction patterns and trends
- Ban fraudulent accounts
- Complete account inquiry requests received by Customer Service
- Perform other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU NEED:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service
- At least 2 years of fraud prevention experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Strong attention to detail and well organized
- Ability to work weekends and/or holidays and overtime if necessary. WHAT YOU GET:
