Your task is to prepare and review financial reporting, combine the monthly forecast and the annual long-term plan and budget. Additionally, this individual will support the execution of all internal financial presentations and deliverables used by MedSurg's CEO/CFO, MedSurg's communications team and corporate finance and financial support teams.

Main areas of responsibility
- Lead analysts are responsible for financial reporting and variance analysis
- Coordinate performance, forecast, long-term plan and annual plan with FPandA managers
- Summarize the group's financial results, forecasts and plans for managers and ELT
- Drive improvement and automation of financial processes, reporting and analysis
- Use trend analysis to proactively identify observed trends and act accordingly
- Develop partnerships both within the financial sector and outside the organization at multiple levels
- Acts as liaison with the Corporate Finance team, including: commenting on variances; providing financial performance and forecast updates; posting forecast, LRP and plan in HFM
- Management reporting and presentations
- Other analyses, projects and requests as the case may be
Minimum requirements
5 years of experience in financial management or accounting, of which 2 years of supervisory experience

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and multidisciplinary projects in a complex service environment
- Highly analytical and able to summarize information from multiple sources
- Strong presentation skills and leadership presence
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills with previous experience managing relationships at the highest level of an organization
- Attention to detail, accuracy, connecting things
- Intermediate and advanced users of Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel (v-searches, formulas, pivot tables)
- Positive attitude and team player attitude
- Primary skills
- FPandA experience including budgeting, forecasting, annual plan, long term plan
- Ability to navigate complex and matrix organizational structures
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Excellent consulting skills to support diverse interest groups
- Comfortable working in an ambiguous way
- Understandable basic accounting concepts (GAAP)
- Previous experience with Hyperion SmartView application and Plus design
