A Kforce client in Tucumcari, NM is seeking The Data Planner works closely with our operations and finance team to create a data warehouse and transform the way we read our data. They must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the information needs of multiple teams, systems and products. The right candidate will be excited about the opportunity to optimize or even redesign our enterprise information architecture to support our next generation of products and information projects. Tasks of an information designer:
Data Engineer role. Summary:
- Create and maintain an optimal data pipeline architecture
- Collect large and complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements
- Identify, plan and implement internal process improvements: automation of manual processes, optimization of data transfer, restructuring of infrastructure for better scalability, etc. Help build the infrastructure needed to optimally extract, transform and load data from multiple data sources
- Build analytics tools that leverage the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business metrics.
- Work with stakeholders to assist with technical data issues and support their data infrastructure needs

Norm
- At least 5 years of work experience in the relevant workplace
- Advanced SQL and MySQL development experience
- Experience with large scale computing solutions
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure
- Excellent computer fundamentals and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in Linux
- Experience in data warehousing and business analytics
- Experience building logical and physical data models
- Experience performing root cause analysis of internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
- Experience with Snowflake, Tableau, AWS Redshift or similar products
- Experience working with multiple programming languages
- Strong analytical skills related to handling unstructured data sets
- A qualification in data engineering would be beneficial
The salary range is from the lowest to the highest salary we reasonably believe in good faith we will be paying when this position is posted. We may charge more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, position, location, performance, union and business needs.
