Job description
- A career at A Place for Mom (APFM) is an opportunity to join our fast-growing technology company dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of the families we serve and seniors in general.
- We are looking for a rock star Copywriter who is an expert in effective digital content development and execution who understands the critical role of content in the digital customer experience ecosystem. A copywriter provides customers with educational and conversion content that supports the entire customer journey and enables them to make informed decisions about long-term care. The Copywriter is experienced in using data strategies to develop and refine a content strategy that serves APFM's business goals. Success in this role will drive conversions and traffic to online channels that will drive revenue and advance APFM's financial goals. Who are you:
- You are passionate, results-oriented and want to join a growing team. You don't mind rolling up your sleeves and doing whatever it takes. In fact, you can't remember the last time you wore a pair of bottoms. You have a proven track record of writing and publishing content that has made a significant impact on the business, but are flexible enough to incorporate meaningful feedback into your work. You are fluent in the performance metrics that drive content success, and you are comfortable with the ability to execute a data-driven content strategy. What you do:
- Develop high-quality content pieces that target ideal customer segments and increase conversions
- Provide content review/creative recommendations that help the business achieve strategic revenue goals based on competitive assessment, audience segmentation, SEO data and website metrics. Work with content SEO teams to identify customer acquisition goals and develop engaging content to convert users. Brainstorm content topics with other departments to increase traffic and improve user engagement. Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve conversions along the customer journey. Identify and document the content needs of key audiences at all stages of the customer journey in terms of people and journeys that influence content. Achieve content goals and performance metrics with a focus on continuous content optimization. Get customer experiences across all touch points with internal funnel metrics. Work with the editorial calendar to align website releases with product launches, promotions and more.
Qualifications
Required skills and qualifications:
- B.S. Higher education in English, journalism, communication or other similar field is required. At least 2 years of proven experience driving successful content initiatives that drive traffic, engagement and conversions for brands. Experience with content management systems, digital asset management, databases and search engine optimization
- Information gathering and discovery skills; proven ability to develop practical, operational solutions. Ability to learn and apply new technology tools. High Collaboration Ability: Ability to work across functions, geographies and organizational levels to develop solutions; engage and involve key stakeholders as appropriate. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop content appropriate for multiple customer segments.
