I am actively seeking to recruit a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the day-to-day operations and procedures of the organization. Create policies that promote the company's culture and vision through their actions. The Operations Manager is responsible for business performance, which includes managing various business activities and creating and following policies and processes. By setting and implementing overall performance and growth goals, the COO guides employees and encourages maximum performance and commitment.

Role and responsibilities
Participates with the CEO and other members of management in defining policies and strategies to achieve or exceed revenue, profit and cash flow commitments. Analyze current and future trends and needs and accurately assess operational responsibilities, competitive strengths and vulnerabilities. Builds and maintains a departmental structure, operational standards and practices that meet and adapt to changing business needs. Manages employee performance by setting clear goals and establishing and monitoring high-level KPIs, tracking progress against goals, providing timely feedback, and addressing performance issues and concerns promptly and directly. Oversee and manage all functional departments (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Technology and Sales) and additional Finance/Accounting and Human Resources functions. You will be responsible for reporting and providing financial advice to management to evaluate operational performance in terms of costs, operating principles, trends and increased profit opportunities. Analyze business revenue, profits and cash flow opportunities and recommend actions. Participates in the design and management of company policies and leads their implementation. Facilitates communication with sales, marketing and customer service. Create and maintain dashboards to show status, goals and progress. Data and analytics support excellent decision making through relevant KPIs and Exec reporting
Ability to analyze and transform knowledge-based observations into clear, meaningful and actionable insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree/MBA and at least 10 years' experience in a cross-functional or analytical role in a Startup environment highly desirable. Previous operational management experience, including staffing, training, work assignment and work management. Background experience in an early stage/start-up company. Strong analytical and reporting skills, including measuring and optimizing performance against KPIs.
- Hands-on experience in strategic planning, management and reporting, including creating dashboards and KPIs to monitor performance. Ability to juggle multiple priorities and achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Previous experience building and defining work processes and procedures from scratch and scaling operations. Ability to analyze and transform knowledge-based observations into clear, meaningful and actionable insights.
