The data protection manager has a key role in ensuring the usability, availability and effectiveness of information. You will be responsible for digital transformation and commercialization using information resources in innovative use and optimization. As CDO, you will take primary responsibility for information governance, information governance and information quality practices and standards across the organization. In addition, you retain ownership of the internal data warehouse, analytics and data architecture. The CIO's role is to develop and implement an information policy across the organization and ensure compliance with best practices and regulations. This is a contract perm opportunity.

Your role
- Administered by the Data Governance Board. Organize, manage and maintain the enterprise data management. Lead, motivate and manage large technical teams. Work with the enterprise data owner to assess, prioritize and mitigate risks that may impact business and regulatory compliance due to data quality issues. Collaborate with DMO and IT to develop a data strategy and action plan. Work with the Information Security and Privacy Officer to implement information management practices that support information security and privacy requirements. Provide vision and strategy for all data-related initiatives, including new business opportunities, data governance, data quality and business intelligence. Lead the development and implementation of the information strategy, including the development, communication and implementation of policies and frameworks. Evaluate vendor bids for information software, tools, or services. Lead the implementation of data control and de-risking programs. Ensure that the design and construction of strategic business solutions are aligned with information and data policies and data management strategies. Implement a data classification program to identify confidential and private information. Establish and monitor data quality activities and provide a central authority to resolve data. Manage the data management budget and related data systems. Provide reports to managers on the most important metrics of the data management program. Lead the creation of an enterprise vocabulary and metadata repository. Management of operational information. Work with management to develop and deploy and implement data policy and data strategy. Strive to educate managers, employees and customers about the strategic value of data and its important role as a generator of business assets and revenue. Influences interest groups and company managers so that the principles of information management are included in the definition of strategic goals. Educate the organization about data flows, appropriate places to obtain data, data provider characteristics, data definition and importance, data rules and related issues. Master of Information Management, Management, Quality and Supplier Relations. Establishes a data management program. Adherence to data policies and standards for key data management and information management functions. what do you have
- Knowledge of how to manage, analyze and synthesize data that provides insights and information to support organizational decisions; IT infrastructure and environments combined with business process architecture; one or more industry standard data management and governance frameworks. Skills to create tools and functions to help load, clean, enrich, manage and share data and metadata from different sources; development of information strategy, policy and procedures and successful implementation of information management and governance programs; to manage complex programs. The ability to synthesize business priorities and goals into a unified vision of the information management function; understand complex data issues and communicate them in an easy-to-understand manner to technical and non-technical staff; collaborate in a team-oriented environment across the organization and at all levels of the organization; communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Certification in a recognized data or information management framework such as CDMP, EDME or EDMA.
