The models implemented in MEDA (modelling, econometrics, data science and analysis) are the "heart of Freddie". MEDA cleans, aggregates and prepares large amounts of data that are used to develop models and policies that support single-family units.

Your influence:
This role is expected to:
- Responsible for coordinating and managing the day-to-day operations of the department, which includes functions such as facility management, facility planning and relocation, and process development and support.
- Gain a thorough understanding of department standards, procedures, processes and requirements.
- Supports the identification, assessment, measurement, monitoring, mitigation and reporting of operational risks in defined business areas.
- Track and report on progress, risk issues, benefits and outcomes, etc.
- Build strong partnerships and communicate within the department and with other business areas and teams to provide necessary support, information/data and solutions to various questions.
- It can also help with performance and budget monitoring, forecasting and cost tracking, as well as strategic business planning and change management.
- Provide solutions to various problems, tasks and issues. Track and report progress, issues, benefits and results, etc.
Qualifications:
- 2- years of experience in the field, especially in business/department management
- University degree or equivalent work experience
- Previous work experience in the field of financial services and mortgage lending is considered an advantage.
- Experience with policies and procedures. Ability to build relationships and work optimally between multiple stakeholders to achieve results.
- Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A strong business eye that understands the issues and challenges facing the organization.
- The ability to work effectively in a constantly changing environment and with tight deadlines.
- Proactive thinker/problem solver with the ability to think holistically and creatively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
