.PublicRelay is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working media analyst to join its analytics team! This role will work directly with our media analysts to analyze traditional, social and broadcast media, identify relevant trends and provide clients with daily tailored editorials and news summaries.
The successful candidate must be highly analytical, self-motivated and able to demonstrate the ability to work quickly and efficiently under deadline pressure to support client outcomes. In addition, candidates are expected to work independently with limited supervision and management.
Obligations:
- Use our proprietary systems to prioritize and filter domestic and international media content
- Support the Account Manager team by providing accurate content analysis and insight into client media trends
- Run custom customer newsletters that highlight important company and stakeholder announcements and industry trends
- Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly media analyses
- Research and gather additional information for clients to provide a more complete picture of people and events in the news
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or current bachelor's degree preferred in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English or Business, minimum 3.2 GPA
- Strong communication, time management and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage and analyze large media publications
- Intellectual curiosity, a sense of humor and a commitment to staying abreast of current events and global news
