Avantor is seeking a motivated inside sales representative to market NuSil silicones to current and potential customers.
This role is virtual/remote. You'll have the opportunity to focus on developing your sales pipeline and closing business with customers over the phone!
What we are looking for:
- Education: Higher education and/or similar experience is beneficial. Experience: 1-3 years of sales experience. Preferred Qualifications:
- Business-to-business sales experience. Excellent communication skills. Be a self-starter who qualifies and converts leads, guides the customer to choose the right product, answers product questions, keeps customers happy and satisfied, and generates revenue. Computer skills (Microsoft Office), knowledge of Salesforce.com is a plus. How you will succeed and make an impact:
- Manage a territory of more than 200 clients in specific market segments. Increase market share and meet company growth expectations by managing high volumes of inbound and outbound calls and emails on a daily basis. Sell consultatively, demonstrating an understanding of prospect challenges and providing solutions based on NuSil's product offering and value proposition. Accept customers and prospects and decide if they should be handed over to the company's development team for further development and closing.
- Develop customer relationships. Generate new and repeat sales by providing timely product and technical information
Recommend alternative products based on availability or specifications. Timely follow-up on quotations and samples leading to potential sales and after-sales follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction. Prospect and acquire new customers by managing the sales pipeline through Salesforce.com and developing and delivering offers to customers that illustrate the value proposition of the NuSil brand. Account cultivation, monitoring and management. Communicate effectively and persuasively with a large number of people throughout the workday via phone and email. Manage open orders and notify the customer of delivery dates
Collaborate with sales management team to implement sales strategies to achieve sales growth and quotas. Offer to customers, place orders as time permits. Work directly with sales representatives and application engineers to develop product knowledge and continuous improvement.
